Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Automotive Mechanic to join our team in North York. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide variety of passenger vehicles. You will play a key role in maintaining our reputation for excellence by ensuring every vehicle leaves the shop in top condition.
Key Responsibilities
Diagnostics
Perform diagnostics on electrical, mechanical, and engine systems using modern scanning tools.
Repairs
Execute a full range of automotive repairs, including brakes, suspension, steering, exhaust, engines, and transmissions.
Maintenance
Complete routine inspections, oil changes, and fluid flushes according to manufacturer standards.
Safety Inspections
Conduct thorough inspections and provide detailed reports on vehicle health.
Documentation
Maintain clear and accurate records of work performed and parts used.
Collaboration
Work closely with the team to ensure technical issues are communicated clearly to customers.
Qualifications & Skills
Experience
3+ years of hands-on experience in a professional shop environment.
Tools
Must possess a complete set of personal tools.
Technical Knowledge
Deep understanding of automotive engines, parts, and systems across various makes and models.
Tech-Savvy
Comfortable using digital shop management software and diagnostic tablets.
Driver's License
Valid G-class license with a clean driving record.
Attributes
Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a reliable, team-player attitude.
